LINKSHIRE has recently launched FiMAX 2436 Optical Return Loss Integrated Tester

The FiMAX 2436 Optical Return Loss Integrated Tester  functions such as an optical fiber end-face detector, optical power meter, light source, red light source, and continuous return loss testing, making it a multi-purpose optical fiber tester. This compactly designed optical return loss tester is an ideal instrument for optical fiber return loss testing and optical fiber end-face inspection. It perfectly represents a professional, multi-purpose, and compact device, suitable for verifying the connectivity of optical fibers. It is widely used in insertion loss and return loss testing of optical fibers and cables, optical passive components, and optical fiber communication systems. The FiMAX 2436 has a built-in fiber optic end-face detector. By magnifying the image 200 times, it can clearly determine the condition of the fiber optic end-face, such as scratches and dirt. It supports power testing at 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625 wavelength, and is compatible with 1310/1550nm dual-wavelength light sources and 650nm red light sources. It allows setting thresholds, insertion loss testing, zero point setting, and power display, and can generate test reports, making the test data clear at a glance.

A handheld fiber inspection microscope can be added as an extension to the FiMAX-2436. Users can inspect the quality of fiber end faces and automatically determine “PASS/FAIL” to obtain certification results.
