Product Introduction
Net Prowler™ cabling and network testers are important testing devices for network technicians and IT staff. This multi-functional tester can complete time-consuming tasks such as setting up and troubleshooting network faults faster and more easily than ever before. Net Prowler offers a full set of functions, including network mapping, link testing, IPv4 and IPv6 ping tests, DHCP tests, DNS discovery, and URL Ping tests. LLDP identifies key Ethernet switch information, while IP Mapping discovers and displays network IP devices. Net Prowler includes TDR technology for verifying and tracking cable integrity, including open circuits, short circuits, incorrect wiring, separated wire pairs, and reversed pin arrangements, as well as measuring the cable length of network cables, telephone lines, and coaxial cables. Test results can be saved for internal review or archiving purposes. The built-in USB interface connects Net Prowler to the PC controller application. Test results can be downloaded from Net Prowler, saved to your PC via the application, and exported as CSV files or PDF files for printing.
