ORL-5000 Intelligent Locator for Optical Cable Route Faults adopts the principle of distributed optical fiber vibration sensing, transforming communication optical cables into micro-vibration sensors. Any position of the optical cable can sense the surrounding vibration information. When the ground or manhole cover above the target optical cable is tapped, the vibration will be transmitted to the optical cable. The ORL-5000 can accurately identify the tapping event, precisely locate the tapping position, and synchronize the test data to the staff’s handheld terminal.
ORL-5000 Intelligent Locator for Optical Cable Route Faults can search for and locate buried optical cables and pipeline optical cables, generate specific location data of optical cable splice closures, breakpoints, and optical attenuation, provide protection support services for optical cable lines and pipeline construction, improve the work efficiency of optical cable line maintenance and patrol personnel, and fully grasp the status of optical cables.
