Product Introduction
Red light source is a visible light source, typically used for fiber identification, fault location in single-mode or multi-mode fibers, and fiber identification. It is a powerful supplement to the OTDR test dead zone and a basic tool for the maintenance of fiber optic networks, LAN, ATM fiber optic systems, and telecommunication network systems.
VFL 2000 Visual Fault Locater (Red Light Pen) adopts a 650nm wavelength semiconductor laser and a high-quality laser head, with stable light emission, enabling quick and accurate determination of the position of fiber optic breakpoints. It uses a 2.5mm universal fiber optic connector, suitable for fault detection of fiber jumpers, bare fibers, and other fibers that can leak red light; when used with an OTDR, it makes up for the defect of the near-end dead zone.
