OLS-2300Series Light Source mainly used for measuring the transmission and loss of optical cables and passive optical components during on-site construction and maintenance, and also meets the testing needs of fiber optic CATV and fiber optic user networks.

OLS-2300 Light Source with OPM2200 optical power meter forms a power loss testing system. When testing optical passive components, first, the light source is directly connected to the optical power meter for measurement. Then, the device under test is connected between the light source and the optical power meter for measurement. The insertion loss of the device can be obtained by subtracting the two measurement results.
