Double-Edge Pen Fiber Optic Scribes a ruby/diamond-grade tungsten steel or sapphire blade with a 30° single bevel features a 5.55-millimeter contact area, which facilitates the cleaving of large-core optical fibers. The non-slip pen-style handle design ensures precise control of the cleaver by the user, allowing for the cleaving of bare fibers to produce an optically qualified surface. It is used to score the optical fiber protruding from the splice sleeve before polishing. Equipped with a transparent safety protective cover, it enables safe carrying when not in use and prevents damage to the blade.
